Turning Additive Manufacturing into enterprise value

Businesses choose TAAG because the three pillars serve three distinct needs that the industry has never had access to from a single source.

AM operators and manufacturers engage TAAG Advisory because it delivers the Financial and Operational methods that turn capable businesses into scalable, investable ones. Senior executives and investors engage TAAG Xchange because it is where the serious commercial dialogue of industrial AM happens, structured around real business questions rather than technology showcases. Investors and strategic partners engage TAAG Invest because every capital decision TAAG makes is grounded in operational knowledge that no financial-only investor can replicate.

The result is a platform where transformation expertise, market intelligence, and investment conviction compound together, creating enterprise value that persists long after any individual engagement ends.

TAAG’s methodology is built from work at the centre of industrial AM’s first wave.

At Airbus, TAAG’s founding experience was used to build and lead the AM strategy and capability, taking research activity and embedding additive into core technology programmes.

At GKN Aerospace, that capability was turned into a production unit, creating and leading the AM team that industrialised flight components inside a real manufacturing environment.

At Oerlikon, the same industrialisation method scaled again: designing and executing an AM technology strategy, deploying around £100m of capital into new factories in the US and Europe, and partnering with Boeing as Chief Engineer to help industrialise Boeing Additive for production use.

At 3T-AM, this method was applied to transforming the business from a prototyping service into an advanced manufacturing system, rebuilding the business architecture, and taking it from lossmaking capability into real serial production.

Founded by Daniel Johns

TAAG was founded by Daniel Johns, an industrial transformation leader with more than 25 years of experience in advanced manufacturing.

His career includes leadership roles with organisations such as Airbus, GKN Aerospace and Oerlikon AM, as well as leading the transformation and successful exit of 3T-AM Additive Manufacturing.

TAAG is the institutionalisation of that transformation playbook — helping additive manufacturing businesses become scalable, disciplined, and investment-ready.
